Your home environment affects your cat’s behavior. Cat-friendly design consultations address how your home, the arrangement of furniture, and placement of cat resources shape your cat’s well-being and can prevent or create behavior problems.
Small strategic environmental changes can make cats more affectionate and social, boost their confidence, help them coexist with other cats, animals, dogs, and toddlers, prevent and reduce aggression or conflict, and resolve litter box issues.
Alana Stevenson will look at your cat’s behavior and routine, assess your goals, view the current space in-person or online, and provide recommendations you can apply immediately.

How Cat-Friendly Home Design Consults Work
Cat-friendly home design consults last 1-2.5 hours.
In-person cat-friendly design consultations include on-site or at home visits and assessment.
Online consultations are conducted via video platforms such as FaceTime, Google Meet, or Zoom. Video clips of the home environment are requested. Online consultations are available in all time zones and written recommendations are translated upon request.
We worked on re-designing the barn adjacent to our house for amazing cat space!
In the barn, Alana advised us on vertical surfaces, cat trees, litter box positioning, privacy areas and indoor enclosures which allow the cats to be happy and keep a comfortable distance from each other. In the house, we went over different rooms and furniture arrangements, as well as litter boxes and water placement to create the most comfortable cat areas.
